Overview
Tidelands is located in Northeast Florida, a part of the state that has learned some important lessons from its neighbors in the state. Here, much of what has been described as "old Florida" has been preserved rather than overrun by population growth and high rises. While it feels like the area is tucked out of the way, it is amazingly easy to get to. I-95 is just 3 miles away. From there, it is approximately 62 miles to Jacksonville, approximately 82 miles to Orlando, and about 36 miles to Daytona Beach. And, the historic gem of the state, St. Augustine - The Nation's Oldest City, with its quaint shops, historical places, and festive atmosphere, is about 25 miles up scenic A1A.
